WARNING - Please be aware of the many attempted scams that target successful classified ads and horses for sale websites. These are now a fact of modern life - you advertise something on the internet and someone out there will try and relieve you of your hard-earned money. It should be easy to avoid being scammed by these conmen but not everyone is aware of their tactics. Be vigilant and don't ever send any money by email or wire to ANYONE if you are the seller. Be aware that unscrupulous types will use STOLEN CHEQUES and this won't come to light until long after the cheque is initially cleared. Best advice is DON'T ACCEPT CHEQUES from anyone if another method is available.
